The Village of Light was started in 1974 in Togo, West Africa, by ABWE missionaries Dal and Kay Washer as a compassionate work and an extension of their church planting ministry. The campus, located near the city of Kpalime, is designed to provide blind students with the opportunity to read the Bible. It also serves as a safe haven for those who would otherwise have been shunned by society, and their family.
The school provides an environment for these children to understand God’s love, and it is our joy to bring these children to a saving faith-that we pray continues to grow throughout their lives. Listen to the hearts of these talented children; hear sixteen songs in French and other languages.
