Pentecostalism in all its modern forms has great appeal throughout the world. This is especially true of societies facing great social challenges. This was exactly the case in the Republic of South Africa in the 1990s when Dale Marshfield wrote this booklet. The Marshfields served in South Africa from 1982 to 2008 planting churches and training Christian leaders. Fullness or Folly was originally written for the small group ministry in one of their church plants. This study uniquely grounds the idea that revelatory gifts have ceased for the moment in the biblical teaching on the Kingdom of God.
